The sequel to the highly acclaimed Bad Company game, Battlefield Bad Company 2 (Bbc2/ Bf:Bc2) combines an intense and deep single player campaign with an amazing multiplayer. Both feature an expansive open world map and the improved Destruction 2.0 engine.
-Single Player- 9/10
Previously I thought that the game play was more important to first person shooter campaigns than the character, graphics, and story, but Bad Company 2 changed that for me. Stunning visuals, open world, destructibility, and distinct personalities make the single player great! The first mission added a nice touch, as it was set in WWII and it kept me engaged in the plot wondering what Operation Aurora is. What really impressed me was how I got to really “know” the characters and connect to them as they seem real, with aspirations and feeling, unlike many dry FPS characters like those in Call of Duty or Medal of Honor. I played through the story mode on Normal, which I thought was just about the right difficulty for me. It wasn’t too easy that I blew right through it, but it also wasn’t frustrating, except for a couple of spots. There is also a Easy and Hard difficulty, which I messed around with. My favorite features include the destructible and open-world environments which provide multiple ways to get through the level, and the squad based system which although faulty at time gave me a heads up as to where the enemy was and distracted the enemies from me. My favorite feature is the ammo crates, which allows you to change weapons mid-game. I would change from a sniper to a machine gun, then to an RPG to take out a tank. I give the single player campaign a 9 because although it was great, it lacks squad control and co-op campaign. Although Onslaught Mode has been added as DLC, I don’t think it’s really worth the extra money because it has very limited appeal.

-Multiplayer- 9/10
The Multiplayer is similar to other Battlefield games. There are now four game modes, Conquest, Rush, Squad Rush, and Squad Deathmatch.
It becomes boring after a while, since all the weapons and attachments can be unlocked early on, and there is no prestige mode like in Call of Duty.
I would say this is the best FPS multiplayer on the PS3.
I’d give it a 10/10 if there was more multiplayer replay ability. For improving the experience, a login into the website of console boost can be created. The using of the console boost will provide more knowledge about the games.
