In 2017, the State Jurisdiction of California, United States lifted the ban of marijuana and made the use of medical cannabis legal in the state. Anyone above the age of 21 can legally buy marijuana from a registered dispensary. The state differentiated between “recreational” marijuana and “medical” marijuana. The latter requires a proper medical subscription from a doctor.
The State also implied a few rules to prevent the consumption of cannabis by children. The law states that any dispensary must keep youngsters away and the marijuana must be stored in child-safe containers.
